Les CocoNuts and its environmental footprint

Les CocoNuts and its environmental footprint

Environmental awareness has been on everyone's lips for a long time now. Earth Day and climate change are prominent signs of the times, as much for citizens as businesses. At Les CocoNuts, we are no exception.

Nature at Its Best!

Guided by ecological solid and eco-responsible values, our team places environmental protection at the heart of its priorities because natural well-being and beauty are the essences of our business. We favour natural, healthy and superior quality ingredients. Derived from plant cultivation, the pure coconut oil, shea butter and cocoa butter in our products are among those ingredients that help reduce our ecological footprint. This benefit is without counting their many uses for the skin and the hair. For example, the coconut oil that is the basis of our entire range is cold-pressed to retain all of its original nutrients. This first cold pressing enables an ethical and fair harvesting process of the coconut and optimal results to the skin, drawn from all-natural sources. Indeed, our extra virgin and organic coconut oil are full of antibacterial, antiviral and moisturizing virtues, excellent for maintaining and caring for both skin and hair.

A Deep-Rooted Ecological Conscience

The cornerstone of our culture, The CocoNuts, the preservation of the environment does not only involve promoting various species of flora for our team. Beyond that, it leads us to deploy innovative and eco-responsible initiatives constantly. Our recyclable deodorant refill, the filling station for our hand and body soaps, as well as our reusable and recyclable plastic containers could not better represent our concern for nature and sustainable development.

Concerned about animal welfare and protecting wildlife, our company does not perform animal testing under any circumstances. All testing is carried out with our associates. With this same eco-conscious perspective, we continually develop collaborations with local businesses that attach the same importance to the environment as we do. Thus were born close links with Oneka, Nany Montreal, The Future Is Bamboo and many others. The suppliers we work with are not chosen at random either. Sarah, our owner and designer, takes great care in choosing them carefully to provide the best possible quality for each ingredient. Always with an environmental concern, our team needs to work with suppliers coming exclusively from North America. In this way, we succeed in reducing greenhouse gases associated with long-distance transportation. Likewise, such associations allow us to connect with our fundamental values of sharing and mutual aid.

Through these relationships with our businesses here and our neighbours to the south, we contribute to our development and theirs because of the strength of one values that of the other. Together, let's rally for the sake of the environment. Since we are sure that you like it as we do, we would like to know: what initiatives do you take daily to preserve our dear nature?
